The finest German flour from Aichermuhle, one of Europe's oldest family mills established in 1589. The flours are made with grains locally sourced within Bavaria that use up to 16 different steps to produce the flour to preserve the rich nutrients from the grains.
Wholemeal flour is made from milling the 'whole wheat' meaning that all three parts of the wheat are ground to create the flour. As it is milled from the whole grain, it retains its natural nutrients, the most of which are found in the germ and the bran, making it higher in fibre and nuttier in taste than plain flour.
Wholemeal flour contains more fibre than plain flour.
