特点

罗汉果被人们誉为“神仙果”。 主要产于桂林市临桂县和永福县的山区，是桂林名贵的土特产。果实营养价值很高，含丰富的维生素C（每100克鲜果中含400毫克～500毫克）以及糖甙、果糖、葡萄糖、蛋白质、脂类等。

[性能]罗汉果味甘，性凉；归肺、脾经； 具有清肺利咽，化痰止咳，润肠通便。

主治痰火咳嗽，咽喉肿痛，伤暑口渴，肠燥便秘。

[参考]含大量葡萄糖和一种比砂糖甜300倍的物质（三萜甙类）。后者与本品的治疗作用有关。
